Tailoring
Our tailoring weaves together traditional crafts, manual skills, care to details and an avant-garde design, that emphasizes each garment´s uniqueness and dignify C U B R E M E´s natural elements.
Simplicity is the supreme elegance.
Experiences that connect
We stand on our belief that if we change the way we live by emulating nature, limiting the items of clothing and objects we own to what is necessary, and adopting a more reasonable approach to many of our purchases, we can become more focused and present and, therefore, better adapted to the evolving world.
PHILOSOPHY
Timeless
Cubreme creates beautiful, simple and long-lasting designs using noble materials in their purest form, cherishing their origin and quality through every step of the process.
Awareness
We draw inspiration from people, their stories and treasured memories, and the moments and objects they cherish and wish to pass on, and by a deep appreciation for timeless style.
Our work reflects the fusion between traditions, crafts, people’s local identity and the protection of natural resources.
Care
Our work follows the footsteps left by traditional techniques. Handcraft skills make possible a cared and conscientious production. We seek to give each garment and object a spirit and a story to share.

Alliances
Cubreme collaborates actively with the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) and the Wildlife Friendly Entreprise Network, managing the sustainable rearing of sheep and goats in line with strict conservation norms for the Argentinian Patagonia’s flora and fauna, with the common goal of caring for the natural and social environment.
FIBRES
Merino Wool
Why give low-impact regional fabrics a chance?
Because we support the Merino Wool Peninsula de Valdes Project, certified ¨Wildlife Friendly.
Because we want to protect regional ecosystems and its native fauna and flora.
Because wool is a natural protein fibre from merino sheep, and is therefore biodegradable, insulating, absorbs moisture and it is very elastic.
Because the quality of the merino wool´s 19 microns, produces yarns with an outstanding texture, equilibrium and optimal resistance.
Because it is beneficial for small local producers, such as the ¨Trelew Woolen Cooperative¨, trade jobs and spinning mills.
Cubreme has been working with this natural fibre since 2010, to develop yarns and fabrics to make all our clothing, demostrating to the world a more responsible outlook on natural resource use.
Hemp
Thanks to the plant's natural resilience, hemp requires few chemicals to grow and thus does not cause allergic reactions on the skin.
A hectare of hemp produces 3 times more clothing than a hectare of cotton.
The use of hemp is very beneficial for health as well as for the environment because of its antimicrobial properties.
The producers of hemp have discovered that it has secondary metabolites, which are chemical compounds often used as a protective measure against bacteria, making it a safe and stable fabric.
